Cen Yi is a flower goddess who controls time. She spends most of her life in the rift between moments, relying on her older sister, Lili. Knowing the fate she must face, Lili entrusts Cen Yi with protecting Xia An’an before she leaves.
Following her sister’s wishes, Cen Yi transmigrates across space to the human world where Xia An’an lives. She accompanies Xia An’an, helping her collect the Flower Fairy Spirit Kings and fight dark enemies. She watches the once ordinary little girl gradually transform and grow into a brave Flower Fairy Magic Envoy.
Along the way, Cen Yi witnesses one battle and farewell after another, and the bonds between everyone slowly warm her icy heart. When the final battle arrives, someone must permanently seal the World Tree. To fulfill her wish and let Xia An’an reunite with Lili, Cen Yi makes her choice and takes on the fate meant for Lili. She seals the World Tree with her own body and stands guard alone at the boundary between the two worlds, forever remaining in this silent realm of time and space.
