A Spaceship from the Start, Bound for the Sea of Stars

Qin Che discovers an alien spacecraft from 200,000 years ago beneath the Qiangtang Glacier. The ship's AI tells him that its database contains all the technology covered by the Federation's "basic education curriculum": magnetic levitation, controlled nuclear fusion, antigravity, and particle thrusters. Any one of them would give Earth a technological advantage from an entirely higher dimension.

He starts in a run-down warehouse in Longgang, welding, assembling, and testing everything himself. Flying skateboards, antigravity cabins, ion thrusters... Every video he posts rewrites the history of human technology.

His ex-girlfriend regrets leaving him, his former colleagues are stunned, and the authorities come knocking. But Qin Che has never wanted fame or money.

The Fuxi is waiting for him underground. His destination is the sea of stars: to take humanity beyond the solar system and usher in the true age of the greater universe.
