The spiritual tide in the north is ahead of schedule, but the main array devices of the three small passes of Zhefeng, Baishi and Shixia have been transferred away long ago. Wei Zhige, a 29-year-old retired flag maker, was forced to stand on the top of the city again and dug out old military flags from different eras from the military supply warehouse. He found that the old flag still retained the military strength of the past and could be reconnected along the real terrain, but someone had to personally guard the position, and the older the flag, the shorter the time it could withstand. The new captain advocated abandoning the two passes to concentrate troops, and the Northern Wilderness Rangers began to specifically cut off the flag lines and grain roads. Wei Zhige could only use terrain, rotation, false flag lines and minimum military supplies to connect the three disconnected passes again and again. But when the enemy learns ways to target him, and his old distrust of superior orders turns out to be a real cost, he must learn not only how to mend a formation, but also how to keep a line of defense that can be defended even when the flag is gone, the formation is broken, and he is no longer around.
