Honghuang: The Struggle for the Great Dao

Before the world was created, a will existed in the chaos, unwilling to take form.

Hongjun established order, and all living things across the heavens fell into its ranks. He alone was the exception. From birth, he stood as Hongjun's equal. The golden patterns on Hongjun's palm could subdue all the laws of heaven and earth, but not the hand he held out.

His name was Wu Ju.

Wu Ju was born unwilling. Unwilling to enter the ranks, unwilling to bow his head, unwilling to yield even an inch to the first and oldest existence. Hongjun said he was a single spark of defiance within order. He said he was a speck of dust beyond it. So, on the day the chaos split and the world was born, two figures stood facing each other: one held dominion over the Heavenly Dao, and the other held fast to his refusal.

A man destined from birth to wrestle with Hongjun had only two choices in life: make heaven and earth learn his name, or make heaven and earth never forget it.
