In the three-thousandth year of the Jiuzhou Era, the Sky-Splitting Calamity struck. The Narcissus Flower Goddess offered her pill to save the world, perishing in body and soul. Only Ling Xuan, the Sword Venerable, survived. He sealed his heart and buried his feelings, searching for her for a thousand years.
A thousand years later, undercurrents stir in the cultivation world, and the world-ending conspiracy from a millennium ago resurfaces.
Shen Han, a servant from a fallen cultivation clan, keeps dreaming of a frozen pool and blood-red armor. She thinks they are nothing but absurd dreams, until the mighty Sword Venerable Ling Xuan, whose name commands the eight directions, arrives at her spirit-herb garden.
He looks at her, his eyes burning with a scarlet obsession repressed for a thousand years.
After countless twists and turns, fate brings them together again.
As the unsolved mysteries of a thousand years ago are gradually laid bare, and the Demon Venerable's shadow once more falls over Jiuzhou, how will they break the curse of this endless cycle?
How will the Narcissus Flower Goddess and the peerless Sword Venerable join forces to change their fate and rekindle a love a thousand years in the making?
