Forced to Become a Concubine on My Wedding Day? The Real Princess Leads the Imperial Guards in a Raid

On the day of her wedding, the gates of a marquis's century-old mansion are shut tight. They actually expect Xie Zhaoyan, the capital's richest merchant's daughter, to enter through the side gate as a concubine!

Her would-be husband holds the hand of his “lifesaver” and sneers, “A merchant's daughter like you thinks she deserves to be the principal wife? If I weren't after your enormous dowry, you wouldn't even qualify as a concubine.”

Instead of getting angry, Xie Zhaoyan smiles. Four red-robed maids fling three volumes of ironclad accounts onto the floor: embezzling military funds and selling out the country!

“A wedding ceremony? No. I'm here to settle old scores.”

The next moment, eight hundred heavily armored imperial guards smash through the mansion gates, their blades casting a chill over the guests! An imperial decree descends, and only then does the world realize that the seemingly fragile lifesaver at her fiancé's side is a princess of an enemy state, while this merchant with money on her mind is actually the eldest legitimate princess of Ning'an, who has controlled the nation's economic lifeline from the shadows for nine years!

Looking down at the trembling members of the marquis's household prostrate on the ground, Xie Zhaoyan lowers her phoenix eyes. “I'll take your entire clan as payment for my dowry!”
