Liu Bang, the young master of a fallen clan, encounters an ancestor from a million years ago in a tattered book that no one cares about. From then on, carrying the power of Heavenly Derivation sleeping in his bloodline, he rises step by step from a ruined alley in the western part of the city, the lowest corner of the Mortal Realm, and carves the name "Heavenly Derivation Liu Clan" back onto the Heavenly Rankings of the myriad worlds.
The Profound Wilderness comprises the myriad worlds: small worlds in the Mortal Realm → the Spirit Realm → the Great World (Azure Firmament) → the Immortal Realms of the myriad worlds.
The Heavenly Derivation Liu Clan
· At its peak: the foremost of the ten great powers in the Profound Wilderness a million years ago, based at Broken Sword Cliff, with three Dao-Grasping cultivators and over ten Void-Burial cultivators
· Downfall: The Purple Dawn Sacred Palace and others planted a curse in the origin of the Sword Dao, causing the clan's bloodline to shatter overnight
· Present state: The clan's members are scattered throughout the realms. Only the ruined Liu family remains in the Dustfall Realm, and even their cultivation techniques are lost
Cultivation system (simplified)
Five Mortal Realm stages: Bone Tempering → Spirit Absorption → Blade Cry → Riverwatch → Astral Shattering (the limit in the Dustfall Realm)
Spirit Realm: Sword Nurturing → Frostflow → Mountain Suppression → Star Pursuit → Heaven Crossing
Great World: Mysteries Seeking → Void Burial → Dao Grasping
Legendary realm: Eternal Life with a Single Sword
