Five Years and Three Days

Five years and three days. They had spent more time apart than together.

Five years ago, the top-tier star CP fell out. One left for a life overseas; the other shut himself off in silence. Five years later, they reunited on the music competition show “Duo Season.” In front of the cameras, their chemistry was as effortless as ever. Behind them, Jiang Yu cornered Lin Chi in the dressing room, his voice hoarse, as if sandpaper were scraping his throat. “That line in your song, ‘The one who turns away first doesn’t feel the pain,’ was it written for me?”

Everyone waited for an awkward reunion, but instead saw them instinctively harmonize while choosing songs and catch each other perfectly during choreography. Online, people went from “just watching the drama” to “shipping them like crazy.” The trending topics went from #ReunionOfTheCentury# to #DidTheyReallyNotGetBackTogether#.

But anonymous texts, a recording from five years ago, and the people stirring up trouble behind the scenes began to surface one by one. This time, would they still miss their chance?
