Fierce Flames: A Medieval Western Fantasy, The Knight's Path

Tristan was once the Empire’s brightest and youngest titled knight, until he closed his dearest friend’s eyes with his own hands in a battle whose name history erased. From then on, a corridor between life and death stretched beneath his feet. Behind every stone door stood a past version of himself: the boy who upheld the code of chivalry, the death knight whose sword was stained with blood, the traitor amid the ruins of the outpost.

The millstone of blood and fire crushed his armor, yet forged something harder in its place: a flame that burned through the night, and a peerless crimson blade.

He was righteous and passionate, unafraid of sacrifice. But where did his path lead? Where did the path of his fellow knights lead, and where, ultimately, did they hope to arrive?
