When Yellow Springs Guide tears away reality’s disguise, folk horror is no longer a legend. It becomes a real nightmare that devours lives.
In the ghost-marriage scenario, a red wedding dress conceals a dead soul, and the mannequins in the paper effigy shop open their eyes at night. At the bottom of the Hanging Coffin Cliff, I was forced to obey the cruelest rule of all:
Never look up.
Coffins hang in scattered rows along the cliff face. Everyone believes they hold the remains of the ancestors, but only the players know that greedy, unnatural beings lie in wait inside. They crave the sight of the living. Look up for even a moment, and an invisible force will drag you into the air, making you the coffins’ next offering.
The mission countdown ticks on. The cliff wind carries the stench of decay past my ears, and I can clearly sense countless icy gazes from above, fixed on me as I keep my head bowed.
Disturbing the ancestors is only a pretext. Being dragged into the abyss by them is the true ending of this scenario.
The unlimited flow of Chinese folk customs is so appetizing! Hanging coffins, ghost weddings, paper-making shops and other local weird stories fill the atmosphere! The setting of the horror game invading reality is very exciting, the copy is full of suspense, the Feng Shui secrets + ghost hunting elements are super exciting to read, and the interaction between the two male protagonists is also very tense. Although the length is not long, it is full of potential. I can't stop reading it. Highly recommended!
Very suspenseful and beautiful!
