Su Shuwan and Shen Xulin have been childhood friends and sworn enemies since they were little, always bickering with each other.
After the Su family fell from grace, its once-privileged daughter hit rock bottom. To support her family, she had no choice but to struggle her way through the entertainment industry, becoming a sharp-edged, highly respected actress. Shen Xulin gave up his right to inherit his wealthy family’s fortune and became an esports star who dominated the competition. Proud and obsessive, he had always been at odds with her. There had never been a hint of romance between them.
After one drunken mishap, they crossed the line and spent the night together. Shocked and mortified when she woke up, Su Shuwan chose to run, determined to pretend it had never happened.
But Shen Xulin closed in on her at every turn. She went to the mountains to film, and he showed up on set. She tried to get rid of him, and a hotel rumor about them shot to the top of the trending list. She hurriedly got the trending topic taken down, only to have their elders pressure her to bring him home.
After repeated attempts to escape failed, Su Shuwan gave up and went with the flow. Only later did she realize that every coincidence had been carefully arranged by Shen Xulin, all so he could catch the feisty girl he had wanted for years.
