Transmigrate into a Book: My Mad Monk from Liaozhai

After pulling an all-nighter to write, novelist Xie Linyuan died suddenly and transmigrated into Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio, becoming Wang Sheng, a frequent character in its stories.

Instead of the usual supernatural encounters, he first met Lu Zhixuan, a half-demon monk with a tragic past, who was both deranged and obsessive.

Nie Xiaoqian’s feelings remained unresolved, the Painted Skin demon hid a secret, and Yan Chixia drew his sword against them. Every Strange Tales story had strayed from the original.

In a world overrun by demons and ghosts, the two of them clung to each other, bound by their mutual obsession.
