Jiang Yueyi transmigrates into the role of the vicious supporting female character who catfished the crown prince online.
In the game, the original character had an online romance with a rich boyfriend. When he went bankrupt, she turned on him, took all his money, and ran.
A few years later.
The male lead returns as the heir to a powerful conglomerate and settles the score with everyone. The original character is sent straight to prison to shed tears behind bars.
Jiang Yueyi arrives on the very day the original character humiliates the male lead and breaks up with him.
Thinking of her future behind bars, she decides to go all in.
She drags her suitcase back to their shabby rental apartment. Break up? No way. She’s staying!
The male lead’s voice is hoarse. “You won’t have an easy life with me.”
Jiang Yueyi gazes at him through teary eyes and coos, “Honey, money doesn’t matter. I just want to be with you!”
Wah wah.
Please don’t send her back for another stretch behind bars!
So Jiang Yueyi works to lower the male lead’s hatred for her, and at last waits until he returns to his wealthy family and becomes its heir.
She makes a quick and successful getaway, leaving the male lead and the future heroine to each other.
She thought she’d done her part and could bow out gracefully. Surely she wouldn’t end up behind bars this time.
But then she finds herself pinned against an elegant bed curtain.
The male lead laughs in a low voice as he grips her waist. “Little liar, I gave you a chance. Since you didn’t leave then, you’ll never leave now…”
