After the furniture factory shut down, Meng Zhou, a carpentry apprentice, participated in the ninety-day desert island live broadcast challenge in order to repay his family mortgage. On the first day of landing, he discovered that the low-lying camp selected by the six-man team would be flooded by the monsoon forty-eight hours later. He has no star traffic and is not good at hunting. With only a hand saw, limited ropes and judgment on the strength of the wood, he first built an elevated bed that can withstand six people. From there, everything from twelve liters of rain water, roof drainage, overhead grain storage, pulley transport, to cross-island camp relocation, food shortages and public evacuation points, all designs must at once withstand weather, weight, tasks and real-life use. The live broadcast rankings are constantly changing, and the differences between speed and durability within the team continue to escalate. The powerful Red Reef team will copy plans and compete for resources. Meng Zhou must prove that carpentry is not just about building a shed, but about allowing a scattered team to truly become a team under limited conditions.
