[Crime Investigation] The Profiler Seems Almost Robotic

[Two Male Leads] [Strong Leads] [Mutual Devotion] [Happy Ending]

[Sharp-Tongued but Soft-Hearted Younger Top x Emotionally Impaired Older Bottom]

(A truly emotionally impaired bottom, not just someone who's bad at expressing himself. There will be no deliberate angst for either lead. Please proceed with caution if this bothers you.)

Ning Yan is a block of wood.

Five years ago, when his partner Ying Xiuyuan died in the line of duty, Ning Yan chose to leave the country.

Five years later, the appearance of the bloody word “Princess” brought Ning Yan, the “Princess” himself, back.

He thought, It doesn't matter. It's not as if I can feel pain anyway.

So when Ying Chengyuan mocked him and clashed with him, Ning Yan always remained unfazed.

But later, it was Ying Chengyuan who taught Ning Yan, in his own words: “If it hurts, say so.”

Ning Yan thought he couldn't feel pain.

But only after he took a fatal blow for Ying Chengyuan, woke from a coma, and saw the unshaven Ying Chengyuan keeping watch beside his bed, did he realize, “This time, it really does hurt a little.”

The “Wizard” believed that anyone considered an outsider by normal people must be his kind.

But later, Ning Yan looked at him and said, word by word:

“You always assume that I must be the same kind of person as you. But I was only thirteen when I met you. The questions that troubled me at thirteen were ones I no longer cared to answer by the time I was twenty-three, let alone now that I'm thirty-three.”
