The male protagonist Li Huai (first in grade, taciturn) and the female protagonist Su Wan (middling grades, resident student in the studio) have nothing in common. An unexpected change of seats made them sit at the same table. Su Wan discovered that there was a yellowing sunflower sketch in Li Huai's book. The person in the painting was exactly himself three years ago. But Li Huai's secret goes far beyond that - his mother is seriously ill and his family is in deep debt.
