After Giving Up on Fitness, I Took Over the Trending Charts with My Bare Face

[Showbiz + feel-good power fantasy + dramatic makeover and comeback + healing face-slapping + unapologetically genuine]

Caught lip-syncing at concerts, faking a fall on the red carpet, and getting fat as a pig, Ji Nanxing is shunned across the internet, with everyone demanding she get out of showbiz.

Her fellow actress, a fake-sweet best friend, secretly pays for smear pieces to trample her and build up her own image. On the verge of jumping into the sea in despair, Ji Nanxing binds herself to the Showbiz Slacker System.

If hard work only gets her blacklisted, she might as well go wild! While everyone else on a variety show struggles to look good without makeup, she sleeps until late morning;

while everyone else on set sucks up to the director, she clocks out on time.

The whole internet waits for her to be banned for good.

But then: she appears bare-faced, and a goddess is born; she casually sings and stuns the music world; she takes a random role as a vicious supporting actress and wins every major award!

When her once-arrogant actor ex-boyfriend and her scheming fake-sweet best friend come begging for a glance, eyes red with tears, Ji Nanxing puts on her sunglasses.

Sorry, you're in the way of me making a hundred million.
