A brother and sister team up to confess their feelings to their crushes with a show of bravado. But when they push open the door, they find their two crushes getting together. To save face, the siblings point at the young master of Beijing’s elite circle, Gu Jingsen, and the financial queen, Su Muyan, in the private room and shout, “I like you!” Their parents promptly kick them out and make them beg for food!

Lu Xingyao and Lu Ziye hold out a broken bowl and burn incense for Gu Jingsen and Su Muyan outside a bar, praying they won’t bring trouble upon their families. Unfortunately, the two VIPs catch them red-handed. These powerful figures at the top of the food chain don’t get angry. Instead, they haul the troublemaking duo into their companies as assistants, supposedly for “labor reform.” Lu Xingyao thinks working off her debt will be hell, but Gu Jingsen, the sharp-tongued capitalist, finds new ways to feed her snacks every day and personally steps in to back her up when a scheming rival gives her a hard time. Meanwhile, Lu Ziye, a total goofball, is so smitten with Su Muyan that he can’t think straight.

Just as the siblings start to think they’re on their way to becoming winners in life, Gu Jingsen corners Lu Xingyao in the break room one night during a power outage and asks in a husky voice, “Didn’t you say you wanted to take my pants off? Why did you stop?”
