In the twenty-fourth year of Dasheng Yongning, two battle reports appeared in Lanzhou at the same time: a great victory in the northern border posted by the government, and the real names of more than 10,000 fallen soldiers. Zhou Xiaoman, an apprentice in the printing workshop, secretly printed the name list on the back of the good news, and was involved in river disasters, famine and dynastic crisis.
