After the Xuanwu Gate Incident, his cousin Li Shimin ascended the throne. Li Daozong thought he could finally live as an idle prince.
But that very night, something suddenly appeared in his mind, claiming to be the "Great Tang Worthy Prince System"
[Ding! Beginner Quest: Treat a worthy person with respect at least once today. Failure penalty: -1 day of life.]
To stay alive, Li Daozong rushed into the kitchen, dragged the cook away from chopping vegetables, and sat him at the table. "You're a talent! Have a steamed bun!"
The cook burst into tears. The System said, "Half-hearted, but effective."
The next day, the System told him to seek Wei Zheng's advice.
The third day, it told him to deal with Zhangsun Wuji.
The fourth day, it told him to write a memorial and present it to Li Shimin.
Li Daozong went from "I just want to lie around" to "forced to hustle" to "I seem to be doing pretty well"
Until the System issued its ultimate quest: [Save the fate of the Tang imperial clan].
He cursed at the sky: "I just wanted to be a layabout! How did I end up a pillar of the state?!"
