Cherished: Mr. Lu’s Private Moonlight

[Both leads are virgins + marriage before love × mutual pining comes true + healing romance + six-year age gap]

[Resilient, clearheaded innocent girl × devoted, restrained heir]

The Lu family needs a marriage alliance, but Shen Luowan, the chosen bride, already loves someone else. Just as the Shen family finds itself in a bind, their adopted daughter, Jian Shi, steps forward. “Let me go.”

Everyone thinks she’s doing it to repay a debt of gratitude. Only Jian Shi knows she wants nothing but the truth and a fair chance.

Her marriage partner, Lu Shiyan, is the heir to Huanzhou, rumored to be stern, taciturn, refined, and untouchable. Jian Shi prepares a prenuptial agreement, ready to negotiate terms with him. She anticipates every possibility: distance, wariness, cold indifference…

What she never expects is for him to push the agreement back to her.

“I won’t sign this.” He looks at her, his gaze as gentle as it was all those years ago. “The woman I want to marry is someone who will walk beside me as my equal.”

Only later does Jian Shi understand that this marriage alliance has been Lu Shiyan’s way of paving her path from the very beginning. He never asks about her past, yet always fights by her side. He never pressures her to open her heart, but is always there to catch her whenever she needs him.

“Jian Shi, you were never my compromise. You were my plan all along.”

It turns out his love began before she noticed, and was hidden far more deeply.
