In a time of great disaster and chaos, corpses litter the land and soldiers bleed on the battlefield, only to die in the end at the hands of their own comrades.
Chen Tuo, a battle-hardened veteran, opens his eyes and finds himself back at the beginning of the famine.
This time, he will no longer fight for a rotten dynasty. Armed with memories of life and death on the battlefield, he is just a peasant struggling to survive.
He gathers displaced refugees, clears and farms the land, and builds fortresses to hold off enemies. The blade of a plow can till the soil as well as cut down wolves and jackals.
When bandits attack, they build a line of defense with their own flesh and blood. When powerful clans exploit them, they bring down the walls of the privileged.
In a world thrown into chaos, are kings and nobles born to rule?
With the earth beneath his feet as his foundation and countless refugees as his army, watch one humble peasant carve out a vast path to founding a dynasty and expanding its borders!
