Corpse-Ghost Taoist: From Being Kidnapped to Starting at the Funeral Home

When Li Cian'an opened his eyes, he was lying in a coffin.

A monster with a rotting body and a Nuo god mask claimed to be his master. It said he had encountered a ghost three days ago and was already dead.

It ordered Li Cian'an to brew medicine, refine pills, and feed cooked rice to the living, claiming it would "bring him back to life."

A dozen or so coffins stood in neat rows in the funeral home, each holding one of his fellow disciples.

His master said they had betrayed him, so he had turned them into specimens.

As Li Cian'an fed glutinous rice to the living, he planned his escape.

But little by little, he realized something: every one of those "traitors" his master spoke of had once been just like him. They had obediently sat before the offering table to listen to lessons, and they had accepted that bowl of murky talisman water.

The person who sat where he was sitting now had sat there before him.

And the person before that one had, too.
