There are two domineering CEOs in the house, Strict and Cold. Their levels of control are locked in a direct competition.
Strict comes up with all kinds of ways to keep Runaway under watch every day. He has to report whenever he goes out, have someone accompany him shopping, and even stick to a strict snack allowance.
Cold quietly keeps Tian Xin in line. Sweetheart looks soft and easy to handle, but behind the scenes, he keeps tabs on her schedule, social life, and every chat on her phone.
Runaway is so tightly managed he’s about to grow mold. Late at night, he hugs his pillow and sighs, “If I stay here any longer, I’ll turn into a house pet!”
Tian Xin curls up beside him, swinging her feet. Her sweet face is full of rebellion. “What a coincidence. Cold keeps me on such a tight leash I can’t even drink extra milk tea. How about we run away together with a baby?”
Runaway: “I’m in!!! But neither of us is a woman, so how are we supposed to run away with a baby?”
Tian Xin: “Don’t worry about that!”
They hit it off immediately, and the two long-suffering victims secretly formed an escape squad.
They waited until both CEOs were fast asleep, then furtively packed their little bags in the middle of the night.
Runaway was so nervous his palms were sweating, while Tian Xin still remembered to stuff candy and snacks into the bag.
Who could have guessed that just as they reached the entryway, two deep voices rang out in unison behind them?
“Where do you think you’re going, Runaway?”
“Sweetheart, sneaking out at night is very naughty.”
They both froze, then turned to see Strict and Cold leaning against the doorframe, their eyes full of amusement.
The escape plan had gone off the rails from the start.
1. Two male leads
2. Pure comedy: writing about domineering CEOs pursuing their wives
3. The four main characters’ names are just this straightforward and easy to understand. They’re a match made in heaven.
