[Urban romance + rekindled love + one heroine + lighthearted comedy + mutual secret crushes + no System]
When other people divorce, they get thirty days to cool off. Jiang Xubai and Fang Zhiyao cooled off for four whole years after their divorce.
Then they run into each other at the civil affairs center, and a staff member's words leave them both speechless: “Sorry, your divorce registration was never completed.”
Jiang Xubai: “How about we finish it today?”
Fang Zhiyao: “I have a meeting at ten.”
Staff member: “You two seem to be getting along pretty well.”
One is a sharp-tongued but soft-hearted CEO; the other seems to know only how to fix lights, cook, and indulge his wife. To deal with their jointly owned property, they have no choice but to move back into their marital home. They agree not to interfere in each other's lives, but Fang Zhiyao starts checking up on him, getting jealous, and chasing off rivals. They agree to finalize the divorce, but she secretly cancels the appointments again and again.
Later, someone asks Fang Zhiyao: “President Fang, why are you always chasing after your ex-husband?”
She answers without batting an eye: “Let me correct you: he's not my ex-husband. We never got divorced.”
Chapter 1 was so tiring to read. The little conflicts and the fussy fussiness. It really seemed like a divorce atmosphere, but I was too tired to read it.
Two human-computer conversations
It's a good plot. It's interesting. I just watched the beginning. I'll comment after watching it.
