Shen Zhilan is a lawyer who is very unlike a lawyer. He conducts live broadcasts of law education, always has snacks in his mouth, has an absurdly narrow folding bed in his office, and has a sweet assistant who is misunderstood as his boyfriend by all his clients. There is also a golden retriever named Juanjuan kept at the door of the law firm. It patrols the snack cabinet and occasionally drags people out of the office who are too busy to eat.
It wasn't until Pei Yanzhou, a wealthy young man who returned from Singapore, brought a family business suspicion that Shen Zhilan discovered that the cases he received were pointing to the same net one after another: the hollowed-out branch office, old campus cases ten years ago, the coworker who fell to death, the squeezed anchor, the accountant who was imprisoned as a scapegoat, the transfer of profits in the mountain villa, and the old medical records that were suppressed behind her mother's death in childbirth.
He hates being told that he relies on his father, and he also hates the victim being silenced by saying "I don't know the law." So he picked up every piece of evidence in a way that was most unlike a serious lawyer. Later, the bamboo horse, the young master, the opponent, the doctor, the accountant, the bodyguard and the anchor all stayed with him. Shen Zhilan finally understood that love is not about being possessed by someone, but about someone willing to work with him to push forward the delayed justice.
