The Sequel to Investiture of the Gods: I Defy Heaven with the Demon God Rankings

After the Conferred Gods War, Ji Fa proclaimed himself the Son of Heaven. The human race began bowing to the Heavenly Dao and worshipping immortals and gods, becoming the Heavenly Court's lackeys.

Unwilling to see humanity bow its head, Zhao Buqi led a hundred thousand people in defying Heaven. In the end, only seven survived, fleeing to the Eastern Extremity Continent.

This had once been a battlefield during the Great Calamity of the Liches. Its spiritual energy had been scattered, leaving it a wasteland universally recognized as the worst in the world.

When the seven set foot on the continent, they found a baby and named him Ping An.

Three years later, Ping An accidentally activated the Demon God Ranking. To his astonishment, he could confer godhood upon the remnant souls of the demon race.
