A Wall Hole Leads to Republican-Era China: From the Start, I Feed Wu Laogou

[Two-way portal + wild, funny ideas + tomb-raiding fan fiction + cute pets + lighthearted wish fulfillment]

“Dogs in the future eat better than I do, and I’m the head of the family?”

Seventeen-year-old Wu Sanshao, young master of a family renowned for training dogs, stares in silence at the dog food in his hands, labeled “deep-sea fish oil, high protein.”

In the modern world, Jiang Song, the bankrupt owner of a pet shop, watches his big yellow dog carry home a bloodstained ancient silver coin and a superb jade pendant through a hole in the wall. His eyes light up.

The other side of the hole leads to an alternate world torn by warlord battles and filled with perilous underground palaces!

From then on, a man and a dog begin a wild trade across time and space.

Wu Sanshao sends antiques, secret messages, and blueprints for mechanisms to the modern world;

Jiang Song sends amoxicillin, tactical high-intensity flashlights, 120-decibel personal alarms, and stab-resistant vests to the war-torn world.

In danger inside an underground palace? A 10,000-lumen tactical flashlight blinds the monsters lurking below!

Attacked by poisonous insects? A high-frequency alarm shatters the swarm’s nervous systems on the spot!

With the overwhelming advantage of modern heavy industry, Wu Sanshao cuts a swath through the war-torn world, while Jiang Song gets rich and builds infrastructure in the modern one.

They think they can keep up a peaceful “online romance” by sending messages with the dog, until one day the greedy big yellow dog delivers the wrong package.

It drops Jiang Song’s flirtatious note, “From your generous big sister,” and a pink plush teddy bear right onto the military map of the cold, ruthless Commander Zhang.

The commander draws his gun in fury and orders the whole city searched for a “mysterious female agent”!

Even more absurdly, time and space go haywire one stormy night.

Jiang Song is fast asleep when several dogs drag him, mattress and all, into an underground palace in the war-torn world...

There, amid the mess, he locks eyes with a stunned Wu Sanshao.

The youth’s ears turn red as he blurts out, “...Generous big sister?”
