Senior Year: I Walk the Mortal World on Tongtian’s Behalf

During evening study in my senior year of high school, I got a text from Sect Master Tongtian. At first, I thought it was a scam.

That is, until a Sage bit off a fingernail and threw it at my face.

The Investiture List shattered four hundred years ago, and evil creatures from beyond our world have infiltrated China.

I’m just a high school senior, cramming for the college entrance exam with practice books in one hand and the Purple Heaven Thunder Technique in the other. I collect fragments of the Investiture List, recruit a security squad of yellow weasels, and deal with Japanese demons left behind a hundred years ago.

Tongtian: I don’t have any magical treasures, but I can teach you some skills.

Ding Yi: Teacher Tong, let’s skip the Great Dao for now. I have a math mock exam tomorrow.
