The Only Medical Order

Su Yu is a gentle, kind-hearted psychologist who takes on a dangerous patient labeled with “antisocial personality disorder”: Lu Yanci, chairman of the Lu Group.

Everyone thinks Su Yu is healing Lu Yanci. No one knows that Su Yu is the one standing on the edge of a cliff. Ten years ago, he failed to save a patient clutching shards of broken glass. Ten years later, a row of carefully polished glass shards is hidden in Lu Yanci’s bedside table.

Two formidable, dark-hearted men, each holding the other in check and helping one another heal. In the consulting room, they are doctor and patient. Outside it, they lay out their shattered cards one by one for each other to see. Lu Yanci says, “I saved those shards for the person who would find me.” Su Yu reaches out and takes them.

This is the story of two broken people helping each other smooth the sharp edges of their fragments and piece themselves back together.
