During the Japanese occupation in the Republic of China era, retired soldier Wu Feng and police detective Wei Zheng infiltrate enemy-controlled territory. While carrying out espionage missions to deliver intelligence and eliminate enemy strongholds, they also solve a series of mysterious cases, including serial assassinations and stolen coded messages. Combining a special forces soldier's combat experience with a detective's meticulous reasoning, they tear through the enemy's intelligence blockade and protect vital secrets of the underground organization.
