As the designated heir to the Fu Group, 23-year-old Fu Xizhou has always been decisive and ruthless. The one exception is the real daughter of the Shen family, recently brought back into the wealthy household. He can’t help being curious about her. She may be as timid as a mouse, but when no one is watching, a foxlike gleam flashes in her eyes. She may clumsily carry out every scheme meant to sabotage him, yet somehow each one ends up helping him instead.
It’s only when he realizes that every “perfectly timed” rescue of hers has inadvertently helped her clean up one mess after another that he sees what’s really going on.
The System says she’s a vicious supporting female character, sent to break him up with the “fated heroine.”
Fu Xizhou screenshots the System interface, saves it in an encrypted folder, and calmly replies: “Oh? Then let her break us up.”
He wants to see just how long this little fox can keep up the act.
In a nutshell: When a master at spotting fake sweetness meets a sweet-on-the-outside, dark-on-the-inside supporting heroine, what does the script matter? He’s the one who can truly turn the tables.
