Toilet Man: Rust

The war between the Alliance and the Toilet Empire is still raging. No one knows when it began, and no one remembers who fired the first shot. The ground is gray, the sky is rust-colored, and vast stretches of no-man's-land lie between the frontline outposts. Patrols occasionally venture in, and sometimes they never come back.

This footage was sent back by Patrol Unit 3.

He woke up on the outskirts of the western district ruins. The date on his camera was wrong, and the command post's voice on the communications channel sounded younger than he remembered. He filmed the first corpse. Its shell bore etched marks like rust, as if something inside the metal were seeping out. It was impossible to say whether it was corrosion or something else. The command post told him to record it and bring the footage back, but not to touch it. He kept walking, and then the video cut out. The next footage was brought back by Recovery Unit 7. The base command staff gathered around the screen and replayed the last three seconds over and over. No one could explain what that medium-sized Toiletman, now fitted with mechanical arms and legs, was doing as it flipped through a book.

G Toilet's face had gained many unfamiliar injuries, with wounds and scars beside his right eye, as well as a mutation in the eye itself.

The camera is still rolling. It has only just begun.
