A thousand years ago, radiation from the “Deep-Space Redshift” reshaped human genes. Men generally underwent genetic atavism and awakened as beastkin, such as wolves, tigers, and dragons. The more powerful their beast transformation, the stronger they became in combat, but the more likely their mental powers were to run wild, eventually turning them into mindless “Fallen.” Pure-blooded humans, on the other hand, do not mutate and can only awaken special abilities. They are the rarest beings in the interstellar world, numbering only ten across the entire galaxy, and are regarded as the Federation’s highest-ranking core assets and strategic resources.
A struggle between survival and desire. The heroine, Qin Sisi, must not only face invasions by alien species from outer space, but also manage the possessiveness of her top-tier beastkin guardians, each with a very different personality and all liable to lose control at any moment.
