Thirty years after the sky split open, ferocious beasts roamed the land and martial arts rose to prominence. Vitality determined everything.

The martial arts exam was fast approaching, but Chen Ran's vitality was only 0.8, not even enough to qualify. His sister's illness, his mother's noodle shop, and his late father's debts all weighed on his shoulders.
