Jiang Zhinan had always thought that his ties to the world were growing fewer and fewer. The connections between people were like dew sliding off a leaf, gone in an instant.

Then, later on...

He kept running into that boy.

While feeding a cat, the boy appeared soundlessly before him, pale golden hair on his head, bright and bold. "Hey, classmate, are you freeloading off this kitten?"

On the high-speed train, when Jiang Zhinan suddenly had low blood sugar, the boy handed him a pile of candy and couldn't resist teasing him. "Lin Daiyu?"

Jiang Zhinan: (T_T)

Jiang Zhinan: My name isn't Lin Daiyu.

When Jiang Zhinan transferred schools, the boy even became the student sitting in front of him.
