Su Ruan's family went bankrupt.
In order to protect her, her parents packed up this coquettish girl who had been pampered since childhood and sent her to the Northwest Military Region, thousands of miles away, and gave it to her neighbor brother, Lu Zheng, whom she had not seen for seven years.
Seven years ago, young Lu Zheng accidentally soiled Su Ruan's favorite white dress. The delicate girl cried so much that she was so angry that she never ignored him again.
Seven years later, Su Ruan was carrying a dilapidated suitcase and stood at the gate of the windy and sandy military area. Looking at the man with broad shoulders and long legs in a cold military uniform in front of him, his eyes were so frightened that he did not even dare to call out "Brother Lu Zheng."
The entire military region knew that Commander Lu was an unsmiling living hell who hated women crying the most.
Just when everyone thought that this delicate little girl was about to be scolded and cry, they saw this cold-faced officer taking her luggage with one arm, clumsily wiping away her tears with his rough fingertips, and said in a hoarse voice: "Don't cry, I will pay for your lifetime skirt."

It feels like the female protagonist exists just to charm the male protagonist. There have been several similar plots. The female protagonist shows off her strength and screws up things - the male protagonist is injured and the mess becomes a mess - the female protagonist is touched.
You can watch it but I don't recommend it very much. It's a bit old and many words are repeated several times, but overall it's okay.
