Jiahe Wanggang, Never Seen Again

This is an urban emotional drama focusing on real-life dilemmas. The story begins with a wedding banquet that collapsed due to the betrothal gift. The disparity in demands between 38,000 and 388,000 pushed two young people, Chen Rui and Lin Xiaowen, who were originally in love, into the center of a public opinion storm. Under the multiple attacks of family pressure and cyber violence, their love went from their first meeting at Jiahe Wanggang subway station to their steadfast love by the Pearl River, and finally fell apart silently under the spotlight. The whole play uses Jiahe Wanggang, a geographical coordinate that carries the meaning of parting, as the spiritual anchor, telling a realistic fable about not not loving, but not being qualified to love.
