My Soul Transmigrated to 1938: Defying Orders to Hold Daya Bay

“Commander, what are you doing?”

“Headquarters has ordered us to transport this shipment of military supplies and weapons to Wuhan to support the Battle of Wuhan...”

Those bastards. The Japanese are practically at our doorstep, and they’re still splitting up our forces to support Wuhan.

It was those idiots who broke the Yue Army apart.

I’m not leaving. I’m staying right here.

After absorbing the memories in his mind, Wu Tian, who had just transmigrated, realized the situation he was in.

If his memories were right, the Japanese would land at Daya Bay tomorrow, and three days later, all of Guangzhou would fall. China would lose its southern gateway.

The entire sea would be blockaded, and he was the colonel commanding the 725th Regiment of the 136th Division of the Guangdong Army.

What’s more, he was the eldest son of the Wu family of the Thirteen Hongs, a member of the fifth class at Huangpu Military Academy, and part of the Guangdong Army’s inner circle.

The more than 3,000 men under his command were all sons of Guangzhou, so naturally, they had to stay and defend their home.

As for disobeying orders?

According to the memories of the original timeline, if he couldn’t hold Daya Bay, Yu Hanmou would lose Guangzhou three days later and flee to Shaoguan. How would he find time to come after Wu Tian?

Besides, the shipment they were transporting was all imported German equipment, including rifles and artillery, enough to equip two divisions.

Even if they couldn’t hold Daya Bay, with all this equipment, Wu Tian was confident he could build a new force of his own right here.
