[Women-Ruled World + Light Mythology + Romantic Rivalry + Stingy Simp System]
The story begins when the heroine's moment of greed leads her to activate something called the Destiny System. She thinks it's an opportunity, but the System turns out to be stingy, demanding tons of work and constantly draining her lifespan.
Unwilling to sit back and wait for death, the heroine sets out on a mission to Sixian County. Along the way, she unexpectedly inherits a legacy and becomes an Earth Immortal.
The upside: she can use the laws of the Heavenly Dao to suppress the System, and her lifespan can grow without limit.
The downside: she's become the Heavenly Dao's workhorse all over again.
Still, she takes her duties seriously, warding off disasters and protecting little Sixian County so well that it's virtually impregnable.
Friends get wine when they visit; enemies get poisoned wine. The best fate for any demon or monster that enters her territory is to leave with its hide in tatters. Most, however, are reduced to ashes.
Until one day, her honest and timid original husband smiles nervously and says, “G-Gentlemen, please don't make things difficult for me. I... I'll do whatever my wife says.”
All the gentlemen turn their eyes to the heroine. She spreads her hands helplessly. “An Earth Immortal's husband is registered with Heaven above and Earth below. Divorce is out of the question. Unless... you're all willing to get along.”
