At twenty-four, Chen Luo missed his museum job's permanent-post assessment after one drunken night, falling from a respectable docent to a delivery worker drowning in bad reviews. When his life hits rock bottom, he returns to his hometown and inherits the clock repair shop his grandfather left behind. While cleaning an old grandfather clock, he unexpectedly awakens the "Repair Anything" System.
Starting with rust-covered gears, he gradually discovers that the System can repair not only clocks, appliances, and antiques, but also memories worn down by time, relationships torn apart by reality, and even his own shattered life. Amid the smell of machine oil and old wood, he picks up his grandfather's screwdriver again. With "repair" as his blade, he cuts through the rust of everyday life and sets time, long since stopped, flowing once more.
