The Wicked Woman Divorces Without Supporting Her Family, Hoards Grain in Chaotic Times, and Claims the World

[Strong female lead, farming, a golden finger that automatically restocks a snack cabinet, sensible protagonist, no charity work, no putting up with mistreatment, gets divorced right from the start without dragging things out, relentless face-slapping, no bizarre relatives but bizarre neighbors, natural and man-made disasters, fleeing famine, secret admirers, open admirers, a whole crowd of suitors, ex and mistress as a contrasting pair, regretful ex chases his wife but can’t win her back, she doesn’t lose weight on purpose, she gets thin from disaster-induced starvation]

Su Changle transmigrates as a chubby girl in a headscarf from a farming-and-poverty-relief novel. From the start, she divorces the crippled, disgraced imperial grandson, registers as a household of her own, and sets out to build a good life for herself.

But all the villains around her want to bully her.

The disgraced imperial grandson is vicious and cruel, so the heroine kicks his bad leg hard.

The scheming mistress turns evil, and whenever the heroine gets annoyed, she dishes out relentless face-slapping. This means real punches landing on faces.

The bizarre neighbors keep coming to her home to pick fights. The first time, she gives in, then goes back and digs a pit in advance.

She sends every troublemaker straight into the pit.

If she can’t beat them, she’ll quietly get ruthless in the middle of the night.

As a result, countless pits appear in her backyard, and the potatoes, sweet potatoes, and cotton grow exceptionally well the following year.

But natural and man-made disasters strike one after another. A foreign tribe rises up, burning, killing, looting, and committing every imaginable evil. To them, the people outside the city are nothing but prey.

Thus begins the whole village’s journey to flee famine. Su Changle uses supplies to build an army of ordinary people, then retreats to a hidden utopia where they can provide for themselves.

She picks up quite a few children along the way and becomes a local land baron. But with the court beset by troubles at home and abroad, she leads troops to crush the rebels, ends a century of warfare, and conquers the land.

The disasters include severe drought, epidemics, torrential rain and floods, and acidic snow.
