[Wen Xi, covered in scars × Shen Jinfan, with a scar in his heart]
A pink heart-shaped lighter held the feelings they never confessed as teenagers.
Wen Xi and Shen Jinfan came so close to finding happiness.
Then an accident shattered everything.
Wen Xi was attacked and rushed to the ICU.
Watching her teeter on the brink of death, Shen Jinfan lost control and beat her attacker badly.
He was sentenced to two years.
When it was all over, the two of them still didn’t end up together.
Wen Xi went to Singapore and vanished for nine years.
After his release, Shen Jinfan also left the place where they had once fallen in love.
“He risked his future, even himself, to protect me. But I understood it all too late.”
Wen Xi
“Xi, don’t forget. I’m your shortcut.”
Shen Jinfan
