Recast the Double-Headed Eagle

[Western History + Royal Time Travel + Imperial Reform + War Deduction + No System] In 1888, it was one year before the Mayerling incident and twenty-six years before the shooting in Sarajevo. When I woke up, I traveled through time and became the Crown Prince of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria. His father, Franz Joseph I, still had a firm hold on the empire. The Vienna court was wary of him, his wife had a cold relationship with him, and the Hungarian nobles refused any reforms that would weaken their power. The Germans, Magyars, Czechs, Slovaks, Poles, Romanians, and Yugoslavs lived together under the wings of the double-headed eagle, and they were also waiting for an opportunity that could tear the empire apart. He is the heir to the empire but has no real administrative power. All he can mobilize is limited popularity, a few close associates who are not yet fully trusted, and a knowledge of the history of the next few decades. Surviving Mayerling is only the first step. Get close to the military, enter government affairs, win over bureaucrats and local elites, find gaps in reform between Vienna and Budapest, change the situation in the Balkans, and change the war that will eventually engulf the entire Europe. As the old aristocracy clings to its privileges, the nationalists prepare to leave, and the great powers await the fall of the empire, Rudolf must answer a question. Can this aging two-headed eagle fly again?
