I Hid Out of Town, but My Childhood Nemesis Followed Me to Live Together

[Urban daily life + One heroine + Childhood sweethearts + Sweet cohabitation romance + Bickering couple + Slight yandere tendencies + 1v1]

After the college entrance exams, the first thing Zhou Xubai did was secretly move to Linhai City without telling anyone.

The reason was simple: to get away from Shen Zhiwei, his childhood friend and sworn rival, who had competed with him from kindergarten all the way through high school.

He thought he could finally enjoy some peace and quiet, but on the third day after he moved, a familiar voice sounded outside his door.

“Zhou Xubai, open up.”

“No.”

“Then I'll tell the neighbors you left your fiancée standing outside.”

As soon as the door opened, Shen Zhiwei rolled in with her luggage and moved into his home as if she had every right to be there.

The two laid down three rules: don't interfere with each other, don't enter each other's rooms, and move out as soon as the semester starts.

But as time went on, Shen Zhiwei started wearing his clothes, stealing his pillow, and claiming the space beside him as hers alone.

When someone confessed to Zhou Xubai, she'd smile and turn them down for him. But once they were home, she'd clutch the hem of his shirt and ask with red-rimmed eyes:

“You won't leave me, right?”

Only then did Zhou Xubai realize that what he thought was constant sparring was really a love they'd both kept hidden for years.

And the cool, proud childhood friend who always went against him had never wanted to be just his girlfriend.

She wanted to be the only person by his side.
