Siheyuan: A 600-Yuan Compensation Payment, and I Turned the Tables on the Old Master

Cheng Yu transmigrates into the body of an orphaned martyr’s child in 1961. Yi Zhonghai has seized his 400 yuan in compensation money and is trying to throw his weight around as an elder. Clutching his feverish little sister’s hand, Cheng Yu slams the table so hard the teacup topples, then confronts Yi Zhonghai: without an official document, what right does he have to call himself an elder? When Silly Zhu lunges at him, Cheng Yu fixes him with a cold stare. “You took my money to fix someone else’s roof? If you don’t hand over 600 yuan today, I’ll make sure you spend the night at the police station.”
