My Online Date Is a Criminal Investigator, So I Take Him Tomb Raiding

[No romance + mystery and deduction + lighthearted, thrilling fun]

After transmigrating as a villainous tomb robber, Lu Zhaozhao finds a “sweet young guy” online to date so she can clean up her image, and sends him “construction site excavation” photos every day.

Until she sends him a freshly unearthed bronze cauldron and says, “Babe, you can use it as an ashtray.”

The plainclothes detective on the other end drops his cup with a crash. “Is your construction site next to Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s tomb?”

Lu Zhaozhao has no intention of dating. She just wants to get all the original owner’s accomplices behind bars. She takes her online boyfriend along on video calls for “virtual tomb raids,” complaining that the traps are too amateurish while pinning an accomplice who tried to double-cross her into a coffin with one hand. In a cutesy voice, she coos, “Babe, there’s a huge rat. I’m so scared.”

When the police storm the ancient tomb, they find tomb robbers scattered everywhere with bruised faces, and Lu Zhaozhao perched on a coffin lid, deducing where the murderer went. The detective shakily pulls out a pair of handcuffs. “Babe, explain how you figured out where those footprints led?”
