Flowers Bloomed in Days Gone By

"Fantasy Romance | Gorgeous, spoiled demon princess & stern, steady leader of the Demon-Hunting Bureau | Two powerful leads on a collision course"

A fantasy road-trip story following Yan Huazhao's travels and personal growth in both the mortal and demon realms.

Demons and monsters are running rampant in the mortal world, and relations between humans and demons are growing increasingly tense. The Demon-Hunting Bureau was established in response.

There are demon hunters among humans, and the foremost demon-hunting family is the Gongshu clan.

The Gongshu family has its own approach to hunting demons, dedicated solely to slaying them. Great or small, demons are killed, never redeemed, and shown no mercy. Their ruthless methods have earned them half the positions in the Demon-Hunting Bureau.

The clan's eldest young master, Gongshu Yao, possesses immense spiritual power and serves as the bureau's leader.

As more and more members of the Gongshu family take positions in the bureau, their influence at court grows, and their standing becomes ever more secure.

Yan Huazhao is the fifth princess of the demon clan.

Far removed from the struggles of the royal court, she witnesses the tangled bonds between humans and demons in the mortal world, and her once-wavering heart gradually grows stronger.

When this free-spirited demon princess encounters the leader of the Demon-Hunting Bureau, a man burdened by his family's fate and entrusted with the power to kill,

one seeking justice for the demon clan, the other upholding the laws of the mortal world, their paths are destined to clash at every turn from their very first meeting.

One mysterious case follows another. Though their positions put them at odds, the two begin to test each other, while long-buried secrets of the great families slowly come to light.
