Special Ops: Save the Last Bullet for Me

Ye Xingchen is a complete weakling, written off as useless from the start. Then he awakens the God of War System, a new-recruit combat System with a smart assistant named Xiao Ai and a gentle female voice. It's an auxiliary golden finger, not an invincibility cheat, and it comes at a cost. Every temporary boost brings side effects: swollen knees, shaking hands, and trembling muscles. Its usefulness gradually fades in the middle and later stages, until it becomes completely useless in real combat. The core idea: the System is a crutch, but brothers and willpower are what truly matter.

The story's greatest moments: climbing from last place in recruit training to surpassing the whole company; countering Jiang Cheng with a single move in the combat arena; hearing the veteran gunner say, “You were born to join the Falcon unit”; then crawling through the mud with the Tiger Company, using his swollen knees as bait and holding on for dear life. Before Xizi leaves, he presses the last piece of candy into his hand: “Be a special forces soldier for me, too.” When Chen Feng's back injury flares up, he takes the platoon leader's rifle and completes the live-fire apprehension. We live and die together. I'll save the last bullet for myself. The road to becoming a top soldier begins in recruit training.
