Eternal Heavenly Dao: I Create a Low-Budget Primordial World from the Start

Ye Xian woke from a long slumber, felt bored, and casually made himself a world.

He created the sun, moon, stars, mountains, and rivers, then fashioned a few primordial gods and demons to manage the primeval world for him.

As for himself, he secluded himself on an unnamed hill, drinking tea, basking in the sun, and occasionally going for a walk.

He thought the world was too quiet, so he made a group of beings called “humans” in the eastern part of the primeval world.

They were weak, and even ferocious beasts could prey on them at will.

Yet they learned to make fire by drilling wood all by themselves, without relying on any god's charity.

Ye Xian found them rather interesting, so he took a closer look.

Meanwhile, the laws he had casually inscribed while creating the primeval world began to operate on their own, and the primordial gods and demons he had fashioned developed minds of their own.

Some opened a demonic realm in the western wastelands and plotted rebellion, thinking they were defying Heaven. They had no idea that the very impulse to rebel had been carved into them by the Heavenly Dao.

Others worked diligently in the Zixiao Palace, reading reports from jade slips every day and praying that their master wouldn't get another sudden urge to reboot the world.

And through a crack that had opened deep in chaos, an outsider from beyond the primeval world was quietly sent in.

He kept claiming that he would conquer this world for an expeditionary fleet.

Ye Xian lay on the hay in his wooden hut, rolled over, and pulled his blanket higher.

“Let's deal with it tomorrow.”
